Pashupatinath itinerary, day by day

Day 1 – Arrive Kathmandu, first darshan

Check in near Gaushala and walk to Pashupatinath for the evening aarti on the ghats.

Day 2 – Morning puja at Pashupatinath and Guhyeshwari

Darshan at opening time, an optional Rudrabhishek, then the Guhyeshwari temple a short walk away and Boudhanath in the afternoon.

Day 3 – Budhanilkantha and Swayambhunath

The 11th-century sleeping Vishnu in a pond at Budhanilkantha, then Swayambhunath above the city.
