Starting from your door in Ayodhya, this 11 nights / 12 days yatra adds Kashi before crossing into Nepal, then covers Lumbini, Pokhara, Muktinath, Kathmandu, Janakpur and Chitwan. It is one of the most complete Ram–Shiva–Vishnu pilgrimages you can do by road from Awadh.

The first two days are in India, so you can pick up relatives in Varanasi. In Nepal the route goes west to east, ending at Janakpur — Sita's birthplace — and Chitwan before the drop at Gorakhpur.

Our Ayodhya to Nepal tour package is the longest Nepal yatra from Ayodhya we run, with Muktinath darshan by the Jomsom flight.

About this Ayodhya to Nepal tour package

From Ayodhya the Nepal trip is a pure road journey — 11N / 12D across Ayodhya – Varanasi – Lumbini – Pokhara – Muktinath – Kathmandu – Janakpur – Chitwan, with the same vehicle throughout.

With its new international airport and the rebuilt Ayodhya Dham Junction, Ayodhya now has direct links to Delhi and other major cities. Pilgrims from Sultanpur, Gonda, Basti and Barabanki commonly start here, and many like a morning darshan at the Ram Mandir before leaving, which we can build into the first day. Ram Navami in spring and Deepotsav at Diwali fill hotels and trains, so avoid starting on those dates unless the festival is part of the plan.

Why Ayodhya travellers choose this Nepal route

This long route from Ayodhya is built for pilgrims who want the full Nepal tirtha: Lumbini, Pokhara, Muktinath via Jomsom, Manakamana, Kathmandu's Pashupatinath and the valley temples. Because it includes the high Muktinath sector at about 3,700 m, the plan keeps rest days and a Pokhara buffer. Ayodhya's own Ram–Sita connection makes a Janakpur extension a natural addition.
