This 5 nights / 6 days plan combines three very different sides of the Kullu–Lahaul region: Manali town, the high, bare landscape of Sissu in Lahaul beyond the Atal Tunnel, and the green Parvati valley around Kasol. Two nights in Kasol let you walk to Chalal or Tosh instead of just passing through.

Lahaul gets cold even in summer, and the tunnel road can close after fresh snow between December and March. In those months we swap the Sissu day for Solang and keep the rest unchanged.

Manali, Kasol and Sissu sit in different directions, so this package works only when the route is staged carefully. Manali acts as the main base, Kasol covers the Parvati Valley side, and Sissu is treated as a separate Lahaul excursion through the Atal Tunnel corridor.

Road and weather conditions can affect the Sissu sector more than central Manali sightseeing, so keep that day flexible and avoid attaching a tight return connection to it.

Day 1 – Arrive in Manali

Arrival by Volvo or cab and an evening walk to the Club House and Mall Road.

Day 2 – Atal Tunnel, Sissu and Koksar

Across the tunnel into Lahaul: the Sissu waterfall, the Chandra river and the viewpoint at Koksar, then back through the tunnel before evening.

Day 3 – Manali local

Hadimba temple, Vashisht, Old Manali and the Solang ropeway if you missed it.

Day 4 – Manali to Kasol via Manikaran

Down to Bhuntar and up the Parvati valley. Manikaran Sahib's langar and hot springs, then check-in by the river in Kasol.

Day 5 – Tosh or Chalal

A morning drive to Barshaini and the walk up to Tosh village, or the easier riverside trail to Chalal.
