Do Dham means two of the four Char Dham shrines in one shorter yatra. Most pilgrims choose Kedarnath and Badrinath — the Shiva and Vishnu dhams — and this 6 nights / 7 days plan from Haridwar is built for that pair. Yamunotri and Gangotri can be swapped in at booking.

Kedarnath needs a 16–18 km trek from Gaurikund (or a pony, palki or helicopter), so the plan gives it a full night at the top. Badrinath is reached by road the next day via Rudraprayag and Joshimath, with a visit to Mana, the last Indian village before Tibet.

Do Dham yatra itinerary, day by day

Day 1 – Arrive Haridwar, Ganga aarti

Check in and attend the evening aarti at Har Ki Pauri.

Day 2 – Haridwar to Guptkashi

About eight hours on the Rishikesh–Devprayag–Rudraprayag road, following the Alaknanda and then the Mandakini to Guptkashi.

Day 3 – Trek to Kedarnath

An early drive to Sonprayag, shuttle to Gaurikund and the 16–18 km climb on foot, pony or palki. Evening darshan and aarti; night at Kedarnath.

Day 4 – Kedarnath darshan, descent to Guptkashi

Morning darshan and the Adi Shankaracharya samadhi, then the walk down and the drive back to Guptkashi.

Day 5 – Guptkashi to Badrinath

Via Chopta–Gopeshwar or Rudraprayag and Joshimath to Badrinath. Bath at Tapt Kund and evening darshan.

Day 6 – Badrinath, Mana and Rudraprayag

Early darshan, Mana village with Vyas Gufa and Bhim Pul, then the drive down to Rudraprayag or Srinagar.

Day 7 – Back to Haridwar

Via Devprayag and Rishikesh to Haridwar for your onward train.

Keep early starts and adequate rest because the route combines long hill drives with high-altitude pilgrimage sectors.

Road Conditions

Allow buffer time for weather, traffic and regulated mountain-road movement.

The yatra operates seasonally according to temple opening dates and official conditions. Travel dates should be checked against current registration, weather and road advisories before tickets are finalised. The package can be customised for hotel category, meal plan, vehicle type, room sharing and selected add-on destinations before booking.
